Scott joined Morgan Stanley in 2013. After interning in the Fixed Income Capital Markets Group, he began his career on the Fixed Income trading desk, implementing portfolio management strategies for UHNW clients. In 2018, Scott joined Morgan Stanley Private Wealth as a Private Wealth Advisor. His team of 7 manages $4bn in client assets and Scott leads the team’s Sports & Entertainment client coverage, including founders, investors, and athletes.

Scott graduated cum laude from Duke University, where he was the head basketball manager for coach Mike Krzyzewski. Since graduating, he has remained in close connection with the university, serving as Board Member for Duke NorCal, as well as a member of the Young Alumni Development Committee. Since 2020, Scott has hosted financial literacy sessions for the Duke Men’s basketball team centered around traditional finance and “athletes as a business.”

Scott serves on the Board of Directors for Ranchin Vets and is a Trustee at Mark Day School in Marin County. Scott and his wife Mary live in Oakland where they enjoy competitive sailing on the bay and skiing in Lake Tahoe.
